Q What type of information does HotelSafeGuard accept?
A Hotel Safeguard accepts compensation reports involving any and all compensation activity. Listing a compensation record in our database does not suggest any type of fraud or wrong doing, it just enables tracking of compensation histories.
Q How long does it take to search for an active Guest "COMP" Record?
A Depending on your internet connection, it should take no more than one minute to search and locate a guest record and report.
Q How do I file a compensation report and how long does it take?
A Reports can be filed using your existing PMS or CRS System Software, a standard web browser or our stand alone application. Reporting takes under 3 minutes. If you prefer we also offer a paper form that can be completed and faxed or emailed to us.
Q Does the database contain current data?
A The database is designed to be as current as possible and thus is populated as compensation incidents occur. The database is also pre-populated with existing and historical data from our members.
Q How long does it take to gain access once we apply ?
A Our application process is comprehensive and includes a telephone interview and reference check. Our procedures are designed to protect your privacy and to ensure the absolute integrity of our database. All applications are processed within six to eight weeks, sometimes sooner.
